A miniature size replica of Pakal mask found in Palenque, Chiapas, Mexico.

The original mask was made using the mosaic technique with jadeite jade. It belong to the King Pakal, one of the main governors of the dinasty of Palenque, it dates from the year 683 a.C.

Today you can found the original mask in the National Archeological Museum of Mexico in Mexico City.
