Dating from the maya classic period (300 – 600 A.D) and originally a jadeite, obsidian, jasper and shell mosaic; this mask is a portrait of a very important nobleman from this city located in the north of Guatemala. Today it is part of a private collection in Europe. A recommended piece for a collector, since it shows a very pronounced Mayan profile and typical Mayan features.

Meassuring in Height:15 cms.; Width: 15.5 cms. and Depth: 11.5 cms.

It includes a rough jade stand.
